It is with great enthusiasm that I submit my resume in consideration for a position as English Teacher. I have 5 years of experience in teaching English literature and language. After completing under graduation in English from Presidency College, Kolkata with an honors degree in English, I have done my Masters in English from Calcutta University, one of the oldest universities in Asia. I have passed the TeXES exam, which is a certification exam for teaching English in Texas, USA. In addition, I have obtained CELTA certification form ILSC Montreal.

I have worked as a Senior School English Teacher in an international School in India and as Substitute teacher in USA . I applied various forms of motivational techniques to keep students engaged while improving classroom discipline. Currently, I am working as part time English teacher in Montreal.

I believe teachers contribute a lot by not only teaching but also making a difference in the lives of students I feel this to be very rewarding. I am driven towards interacting with students and exchanging in an intense interaction of ideas. I reflect continuously on my practice, performance throughout the day and constantly look for ways to improve. I pride myself on my organizational skills and ability to empathize with students and peers.
