My name is Shannon, I'm 18 and a first year science student at Dalhousie. I have had a passion for animals my entire life and am hoping to become a vet and it would be great to gain more experience with all animals. Currently I only have snakes as I was not able to bring my dog and cat from Toronto to school, but I have owned reptiles, rodents, dogs, cats, birds and fish. I am currently living in residence, but have a small space in my grandmothers home (where I keep my snakes) for smaller animals if boarding is needed, but I prefer to take care of the animals in your homes. I have years of dog walking experience and am able to walk 4-6 dogs at a time depending on their size and energy level. Last year I had a small educational program/show that I used to educate children on the importance of responsibility and to show them that reptiles make great pets too. I am a very fast learner and I take pride in ensuring that every animal gets the best care possible.
