Rebekah, house keeper in Grafton

Responsibilities
I babysit for local families in Grafton. The children's age range in between 12 months and 8 years. At this job I prepare daily age appropriate activities including crafts, puzzles and story time. I prepare their meals depending on how long I am babysitting and all their light snacks. I often take the children through their bedtime routine and have been trusted overnight alone with the children.

During this job I have accomplished gaining the children's trust and respect. I was responsible for keeping them in a safe environment and ensuring their happiness.

Skills Used
The skills I used with this job include a lot of patience and understanding, I was able to communicate with the children properly in a way they understood. I was always responsible and affectionate. I used discipline when it was needed and was considerate of what the parents wanted. I followed instructions without any hesitation and used my own initiative in certain situations.
