Hi there, my name is Julia and I'm a BSc Physics student at the University of Victoria. I work as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the Canadian Forces Base in Esquimalt, and have taught swim lessons for four years. In my free time I play water polo and love to spend time outdoors. I enjoy working with children and teenagers, and have experience teaching swimming to infants, children, and teenagers.

As a physics major I have taken first year calculus, physics, biology, chemistry, and American Sign Language courses at the University of Victoria and am comfortable with all subjects, specializing in math and science at all grade levels. I scored the following final marks in high school:

Math 12: 95%
Biology 12: 100%
Physics 12: 96%
Chemistry 12: 90%
English 12: 92%
Social 12: 90%
