Marilyn, nursing care at home - T1W Canmore

Hi, My name is Marilyn. I was a Nurse for 18 years. I did home care for 5 years. I have worked in all settings, individual homes, family home, nursing home apartments, group homes and hospitals.
I have worked with special needs clients, patients with mental health issues, dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetics, mobility problems, post op care, giving eye drops, palliative care or elderly clients needing help or company.
I enjoy care giving. Just having a conversation and a cup of tea with a lonely person gives me joy or even a short walk. I follow what the individual or family wishes are. I am very flexible and know each individual have their own routines and beliefs. I respect that.
I can pretty well do anything you request of me. I have extensive experience and references. I enjoy helping people the way they need. One thing I enjoy is giving gentle foot care but I am not so good with doing hair.
I am from Newfoundland. I have lived in the Bow valley for several years now. I am looking for part time work to supplement my other job. I work in a motel 3 hours every second day. The hours are flexible and I can work around the hours you need. I would consider full time work and stop the motel job if the aspects all worked out.
