I absolutely love teaching. I especially enjoy working one-on-one with students to help them achieve their individual goals. I find tutoring very rewarding. I take the necessary time to prepare prior to our sessions to provide the very best learning experience for our time together.
For younger students, I find fun, exciting games and approaches to learning the concepts and skills. I find out what the child is interested in and use this to draw their attention into what we are trying to learn.
For older students, I find out the best way they learn and utilize this approach in our sessions. For example, if I have a high school student needing help preparing for a test and they are auditory learners, we might spend some time constructing a song to remember facts.

Education: Early Childhood Education Bachelor of Arts and Science (Honors) - specializing in English and Geography
Bachelor of Education - Primary/Junior/Intermediate grade levels - Special Education 1 qualification
