Hello,

My name is Seyoung (Sarah) , and I am a 2nd year chemical engineering student, currently enrolled at the University of Toronto.

I have been tutoring different age groups of students. In total, I have been tutoring students whose ages are five, seven, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, and seventeen. Usually, I tutored mathematics but I also tutored chemistry and music as well. While I tutored these students, I identified areas for improvement and adjusted individual’s lesson based on one’s performance. As a result, students were able to improve their grades with an average of 10~15%.

For an example, I was tutoring chemistry to a grade 12 student, who was retaking grade 12 chemistry in a summer school. I was more focused on common mistakes or difficulties she found in the material. As she finished her summer school, she was able to achieve with a final average of 83%. With my tutoring experiences, my analytical skills will be outstanding amongst others.

With analytical skills, diverse teamwork experience, and strong communication, I believe I am a perfect candidate for the position. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Over all score would be 5. A pleasure to work with. Sarah was always on time and very attentive to the tutoring that she provided for my granddaughter in Math. She was able to zero in on the math lesson that was important for that grade level. Very respective to us and also her mom who she contacted at the end of each lesson to let her mom know she was on her way home.
