My name is Shikara and am offering music lessons! I obtain a Bachelor's of Music from McGill University (graduated Spring 2020) and am entering a Master's program in the fall at McGill for Speech-Language Pathology. I have taught lessons in piano, saxophone, flute, ear training, music theory and very basic guitar to a variety of ages.

If you do own a piano or keyboard, I am willing to commute to your home for lessons. However, if you do not own a piano, I am offering lessons at my Montreal home!

I have extensive experience working with young kids so I adapt my lessons to fit their needs and interests (fun songs to learn, colour-coding keys to make learning notes easier for beginners, adding games to the lessons etc.).

Since I also have learned and taught music at a University level, I am also equipped to teach intermediate and advanced students.

Note: if you do choose to take lessons with me, I may ask you to purchase some music materials (sheet music, theory books etc.) which I will select and you can buy from me (at retail price). If you already have material you of your child would like to work on, that is great!
