I am currently studying to become an elementary teacher and have experience teaching both as a student teacher and as a substitute teacher.
I was a student teacher in grades 1, 2 and 3, as well as a classroom comprised of grades 3-6 for children with behavioural issues. I have also worked as a substitute teacher in grades K-6, and enjoyed my time doing so.
I know many "mental math" methods that make learning and doing mathematics easier, faster making a subject most kids find frustrating more enjoyable, and can bring those to the table.
