Serina, senior home help in Delta southeast V4L

Hello, my name is Serina. I am 17 years old, just graduated from high school, and heading to University of Toronto this fall. I am applying for this job because I would like to earn some extra money, become a more independent person and I hate wasting time sitting around in the house during the summer.

I am a Chinese Canadian. I started school here three years ago, but I spent most of my childhood in China, with my grandparents. Fortunately, four of them are still quite healthy, and we make phone calls every week. I love them with all my soul.

Because I have spent so much time with them, so I have became very aware of their habits and routines. I understand their minds, and I can help them go shopping, do housework, remind them of important things, etc. And most importantly, I am a wonderful listener and very patient with old people. I am interested into their world. I’d love to talk to them, cheer them up, and keep them company. I will try my best to be a sweetheart.
