Nimo, senior home help - K2P Ottawa (centre town)

Hello! My name is Nimo, and I'm a second year student at University of Ottawa studying Women Studies & Classical History :). My mother has worked at a retirement home (Villa Marconi) for a little over a decade now, and I would always love going to work with her and spending time with the residents. I loved keeping them company and reading to them, as it seemed to bring joy to them and alleviate any tension they had. I worked at Villa Marconi as a volunteer for about two years, and am now looking for a permanent job that would provide me with a similar experience. This job would allow me to bring happiness to the elders, as well as to myself because I really do enjoy being around seniors, and learning from them & their stories. I'm a very energetic person, however I'm cautious, as to not be overwhelming to the elders.
