Hi, my name is Fiona. I'm Canadian born, however I just returned after living in Australia (and NZ) for many years. I'm a Registered Nurse in Australia and am currently awaiting registration in Canada. I am told this may take well into next year to complete.

I have experience in Geriatrics, ICU, Neuro sciences, Diabetes and Emergency, I was also a disability carer while training/ studying.

I cannot work as a nurse here yet, however I do have all the experience, this means as a carer I have the professional ability to recognise any concerns and can recommend when medical attention is needed.

Fiona was incredibly gentle with my children. She was able to get down to my sons level and reason with him. He’s a bit wild, but he adored her. She has a lot of patience, and is nurturing. She didn’t just look after my children, she taught them things. She would read to them, write with them, teach them to throw and catch a ball. She also, which I loved, would teach them about cause and effect. I watched her explain, I can’t remember what exactly, but cause and effect to do with, say personal hygiene. It was a bonus Fiona is a practicing nurse. She was also a person I could ask questions about colds etc. o could not recommend Fiona enough as a nanny or casual babysitter. I found it hard to leave my children, but she made me feel at ease.
