I am a 42 year old woman and there are two dogs downstairs so if need be and if it's OK with my partner I will look after a dog as long as you provide your own pet's dog food and toys. Same goes for taking care of little animals.
I will bathe smaller dogs if need be, when animals get wet and muddy I clean them off and dry them so they are not so cold when they are back in the house. I love animals, they make a person's life worthwhile!!
I know that each animal requires different food types for example rats need bigger chunks of food then a mouse. Parrots eat larger food items than budgies.
Parrots need peanuts and they take it in their talons and use their beak as well to open them and take out the meat.
Rats will not just eat the peanut but the shell as well. Some animals are really finicky they may only will eat certain things.
