Since retirement from Registered Nursing, I have volunteered to assist in home care, including my elderly father. I am presently searching for an individual or family to provide the type of care I have an affinity, the personal care in the home. I worked as a Registered Nurse in elder care and geriatrics from 1991 until I took an early retirement in 2008 to provide care outside institutions. I have volunteered to help others in Michigan and California from 2008 to June 2013.
First, I had to chose a distance to travel and an hourly rate to post my ad but this would not apply to me. I am very interested in a live in or live out position outside the USA. I do have income each month from the U.S, government. so I am flexible with pay, especially if it is a live in position.
