Dear families:

My name is Andrea Olvera, I am 23 years old and I am from Mexico.

I like to be a Nanny because I love spending time with children and to enjoy great moments while I take care of them (like playing, reading, feeding them, or even accompanying them to their daily activities or playdates).

I would like to share you a short story about my childhood. When I was five years old, my mom took me to dance classes and being honest I was not excited, but when I finished the first class I completely liked it. Today and for many reasons, I am grateful to my mother for having dabbled me in a discipline like what dance is. And besides thanks to that I can mix two of my favorite activities: to dance and being able to spend time with children teaching them new and fun things through dance. And that is how I had my firsts approaches with child.

I have two siblings; a little sister and a bigger brother who already has his own family. So I can say that I am very fortunate to be an aunt of two beautiful children with whom I learned a lot about caring for them at home.

Last year I was Au Pair with a family in Boston, MA (USA) of a three girls (twins of 4 years old and a 7 years old). The family has a lot of friends and a house in the lake in New Hampshire. So I used to drive the girls to there for weekends and vacations; and also spending time with the children of the family's friends (in NH or in the city) so I were taking care for around 12 kids.

Furthermore I was seasonal nanny of two kids some years ago.

As I already told you I was a dance teacher. And also I have experienced teaching Spanish and English here in my country.

Among my hobbies is reading, watching movies, spending time with my family and friends, going to the movies or the theater, singing and dancing. I also love taking care of my diet and my lifestyle, so it also turn into a hobby doing sports (tennis, basketball, football, running, swimming, going to the gym or some kind of aerobics).

I would really love to continue sharing many more things about me. I am sure that when we see each other in person, I will do it and we will have incredible moments!
