I took care of my Grandmother who was diagnosed with ALS unable to get around on her own for 3 years. During this time I took care of all her needs, which included helping her in and out of bed, getting dressed and taking care of all her personal hygiene needs. I also made sure she had her medicine and that she was taking it on time.
I also performed all household duties such as washing clothes, washing dishes, grocery shopping, cooking meals and cleaning to maintain a safe environment
After caring for my Grandmother I knew this was the type of work I wanted to do.
