I’m a very caring, professional and loving individual with many talents useful for this job!
My experience is providing care for children and I have experience with special needs and providing accommodations for each individual and their families. I was very close to all of my grandparents so I’m aware of some of the challenges that seniors encounter.
From having a home childcare job I have lots of experience with keeping a healthy and safe home environment, cooking, cleaning, etc.
I’m very comfortable sitting and chatting with or reading to, doing food prep, house cleaning, running errands and maybe even providing simple yoga movements to help with pain management and range of motion.
I’m comfortable working with other professionals whom could give me program ideas to do with the senior.
I am a healthy and energetic 45 year old mother of two children ages 18 & 15 whom has just returned to Sackville after living in Ontario for 6 years.
I have my police and venerable sector check from Ontario and am in the process of applying for a new one in N.B.
I have my first aid and cpr and am trained with using a defibrillator.
I’m available Monday to Friday days, even some evenings and occasional hours during the weekend.

I am writing to provide a personal reference for Tammy Fury. My daughter was in Tammy’s care at her home daycare for two years. During that time Tammy provided a very high standard of care for her. Tammy’s house was always clean, she provided nutritious meals and snacks, and made sure that each child was receiving the personal care and attention that they needed. Our family was also very appreciative of the preschool program that Tammy had in place for the children. Our daughter went to school this year fully prepared for Kindergarten. She could write her name, knew her letters and numbers, was able to get herself ready independently, and was already working towards the self-regulation skills that all children need for school. We credit Tammy with making sure that the children in her daycare were ready to head to school when they moved on to school. Tammy was our caregiver for our son for 3 years. He is an extremely active little boy, and she was incredibly supportive and caring with him. We were very happy with her services, and the partnership we had with her in raising our son. Tammy is organized, she plans excellent activities with the children in her care, provides healthy snacks and meals, and made sure to include a large amount of outdoor play, which was very important for Lucas. He absolutely loved going to Tammy's, and would talk about her in such a loving way! He has been in school now for 3 months and still talks about how much he misses her. When Lucas entered kindergarten, he was beyond prepared, knowing his letters and numbers, colours and shapes, and he was socially prepared to make friendships with his classmates. We credit Tammy with this preparation for school, she ran a program that instilled routine and high expectations for his behaviour, and was always open with communication with us. Our son has an early diagnosis of ADHD, and she was a partner in our communication with his doctor, providing insight into his days and behaviours. She was patient and loving with him, and I truly feel like she loves our boy! I have recommended her in the past, and would continue to do so! When Lucas was in her care, he knew that he was loved, which was so important to us as parents. From day 1, we were confident in Tammy's program and care, and never had a worry about him while he was with her. Tammy provided daycare for my daughter for two years. During this time I came to know her quite well and I hold her in very high regard. Tammy consistently provided excellent care for my daughter. Her home was always extremely clean and uncluttered. She provided a wide variety of healthy, kid-friendly meals and had wonderful resources, equipment, and designated areas for the children to play. Although Tammy had many parents seeking her services, she always kept her numbers low in order to provide the best care possible. Tammy was very reliable. She rarely took time off, and when she did, she gave me plenty of notice so that I could make alternate arrangements. Tammy was easy to work with. I felt that she always listened to me and gave excellent guidance when I sought it, but never gave unsolicited advice. My daughter started kindergarten this year with a solid foundation of her letters, sounds, and numbers. I am very grateful to Tammy for the high quality programming she provided. My daughter came home regularly with adorable crafts and samples of some of the "work" she had been doing - she was always very proud of her creations! Tammy is an extremely caring and professional person. My child loved her and truly enjoyed going to daycare everyday. I highly recommend her to any parent seeking care.
