Hi everyone! My name is Sarah, but friends call me Kaye. I'm a recent Mount Allison graduate (Bachelor of Music) and really enjoy spending time with older adults. I've taken courses on Aging and Adulthood in my Psychology degree, and am very close with my grandparents. I also volunteered as a companion to an older lady with dementia while I was in high school. I am happy to cook, bake, clean, run errands, help with technology and files (my grandparents think I'm on the Geek Squad!), and generally assist in any way.
My current studies are in music and psychology, and I would love to make or play music that my older companion would enjoy. I also love stories, and have found that older adults have the best ones!
I am responsible, gentle, patient, caring, and I've always gotten along very well with older people. My future studies will likely be in aging and music, so spending time with an older adult is just what I'd like to be doing!
