I am an ESL tutor who has worked for agencies offering homecare. I enjoy helping people who are not in the position to care for themselves on a short term basis
I am kind, trust worthy with a keen sense of humour. I am sensitive to the needs of others and respect the older generation. I am keen to discuss topics ranging from art, music, movies, cooking, politics and poetry. I am a keen environmentalist and enjoy taking people outdoors to explore the wonders of nature.
I am open to spending time overnight or day outings. I love to listen to stories of the elderly and have a great deal of patience and understanding of the day to day problems as well as getting involved in any hobbies or activities they may pursue.
I spent 4 years taking care of mother in a long term care facilit and catering to her wishes . I also visited and talked with many residents whom i did not know and others who were part of the community where I grew up.
