Hi.. i am lavpreet kaur. I am studying gerontological nursing in selkirk college. My study is specially focused on aged people and i love to care for old people. I can acompany old people in walking. I can help them in eating, reading, waliking, cooking, laundry, cleaning, bathing. I can guide them to do exercises to be fit and healthy. I can provide comfort to aged people as much as possible. I would like to strenghten their coping abilities to adjust with age related physical and mental changes. I can give education about importance of nutrition forr growth and development of body. I can also provide spiritual support and teaching. I have enugh patience and i am very calm person. My goal of doing anything would be only comfort to the senior. In my family i cared for my maternal grandfather. I gave chest physiotherapy and other relaxation therapies.i also for many other aged people in hospitals during my clinical posting.
