Florence, cours de musique à Mississauga

I have played piano for 10 years and I have performed in recitals, composed some pieces, and improvise. I enjoy performing at events as a pianist or bassist with my band. In my spare time, I will jam to some pop or musical theatre with my friends. In addition, I have volunteered to play piano, ukulele, and/or sing at the hospital and retirement home. Furthermore, I have played the flute for all 4 years of high school, participating in the band and performing for the community. I have been in the high school choir as well for all 4 years.

I would say I have a diverse musical experience since I have also learned about world music and avant garde music. I have learned how to play various Cuban instruments and the Koto (Japanese floor harp). I also participated in the World Music Chorus in which we learned songs from different cultures. In each ensembles I have performed. I studied Avant Garde music and I am currently in a New Music Ensemble.

I have given piano and flute lessons to students of various levels ranging from beginner to RCM 8 (piano) and beginner flute, and of various ages (4-12 years old).
