As an educator, I am able to bring to the classroom not only my expertise in the subject area, but I am also able to provide student-directed teaching and learning. My lessons include practical project-based and negotiated learning with cross-curricular integration in the forefront. My classes give students the opportunity to discuss and exchange information and ideas through literature circles, debates, interviews, forums or even simple brainstorming activities. My teaching also involves modeling and demonstration to clarify expectations with students.

I have also privately tutored many students over the years in ages ranging from 6-18 years. I taught IB and AP level courses but also have experience teaching at the elementary level.
