All of my experience working with elderly people has come from personal experience of taking care of family members or friends. I am capable of any type of cooking, cleaning, chores, commuting, etc. I also extremely enjoy a good conversation and I have great communication skills. I enjoy playing cards, board games, and being outdoors. As a social worker, a major requirement is being a good active listener and being understanding. I have always extremely enjoyed talking and spending time with people who have experienced more in life than me, and gaining some wisdom, insight, and knowledge from them. I have had a lot of elderly people really enjoy spending time with me, because I truly enjoy engaging in conversation with them and just being around them. I would absolutely love to be of any help possible.
