My name is Malaiya , and I absolutely love teaching music to kids. I have been teaching Violin and Piano since I was in grade 7, but have taught guitar, drums, and theory as well over the years.
I have been playing the violin since I was 5 years old but have experimented with many different styles over the years. I started off playing fiddle and that led to me starting to learn chords on the piano. When I was in grade 4 I moved to Russia and it was there that I was instructed by the lead Solo Violinist for the Russian Orchestra. When I was in grade 7 I moved to Zambia and there I started doing more improvisation with various bands.
I have also attended a fiddle camp for 9 years on the Sunshine Coast, BC.
